A spa day, a vacation, a hot bath, a walk in nature, a big nap or is it something completely different.
For me it is a couple different things. Usually it is time on my horse followed by a day of doing whatever my heart wants. Getting away from social media and just focus on me for a day. Another possibility that I some times do is getting together with a friend for some selfish crafting or a good day of window shopping. A day watching pointless tv also helps.
This pass weekend I found my ultimate reboot. A weekend away. The entire family went and stayed with family. No camper was taken, no work was taken. At first it was a little stressful because I cant remember the last time we went away for more then a night without taking the camper. I took a couple books, and some selfish crafting. Spent time catching up with family and meeting our new nephew, tried a new craft, relaxed and enjoyed good food. I finished a book, I finished a cowl for myself, and enjoyed not having an alarm clock
I have come home and feel totally renewed. I feel like I can attack the world running full speed.
Everything feels better, my body and my mind. I am attacking my work without it feeling like work.
Make sure you take the time to reboot. I don't do this often enough and it shows in my work. I am going to schedule a reboot day into my calendar every three months.
Its a shorter blog this week as sometimes less is more.
