This is the newest addition to the family. He is about 7 years old and 13.3hh. He just got home from training and we are loving him. He was surrendered to a friend who runs a rescue and I don't think he was there a day before I told her he needed to live with me. My daughter lost her horse is the fall and has had a difficult time finding a new best friend. I think she has found one. She came home from a sleep over and ran straight for him. She went for her first ride and her smile brought tears to my eyes. She told me and everyone watching that he is the best horse and only she is allowed to ride him. I am so glad I was able to give this pony a forever home and to help heal my daughter. Flynn may not know it but he has already done so much for my family

The long weekend is turning into a great one. Saturday we took the kids to a kcra rodeo and had so much fun. Then dropped them off at gramma and poppas for a sleep over. Ian and I then went out for supper. When we got home we were trying to decide what we were going to do on our date night and well we decided to take a couple horses out for a ride. Ian on his new paint gelding and me on my old faithful. It was a great two hour ride both our boys were great. We stopped at te neighbors on the way home to show the progress on Ian's guy and they invited us in for a beer by the fire. We took horses home and then went over for a good visit. Today we are enjoying brunch on the deck and then a little bit of yard work before we head of too mounted shooting practice. Followed by supper at mom and dads one child comes home while the other gets to stay for one more night. Tomorrow we go to pick up kieras pony. Can't wait to bring Flynn home. It is a great weekend and a great start to the month
