Everyone has them.
How do you handle when your life seems to be full of struggles or road bumps?
The first week of January was awesome. Everything was just going great. i was eating on point, I was getting daily workouts in, the kids weren't fighting and the best part is I was sleeping wonderfully.
Then.....
boom...
change....
Back to school....
everything feel to pieces.
January 7th it was back to school for my daughter and back to homeschooling fir my son and I.
I take teaching my son very serious. Therefore I put everyrhing else to the side and just focus on getting school done. I also had appoinments to take people to, more birthday parties to plan. Which means I said good buy to my workouts.
Typically at this point I would beat myself up, I would then go on a good food binge and decide that I just cant work out when school is on.
Instead I am giving myself some Grace and being ok that this week went haywire. I put on essential oils on daily and focused my prayer. I spent time with my family last night talking about how we can adjust our schedules so that I can fit in my self care. Which in turn makes me a better mom.
I have decided to take this years struggles in stride. Not beating myself up when things go a stray.
stop. breathe. oil. re-evalute. start over. repeat.
This is my plan of attack for the road bumps this year.
